Landmark offers several enrichment programs that enhance the learning experience of our students. In the Elementary Department (K-5) this includes Art, Dramatic Arts with Music, and Spanish. Each of these classes is taught once per week. Physical Education is also taught for grades 1-5 and a Computer Center is available to students in the higher grades.
Landmark Artists The Art curriculum covers fundamentals such as primary colors, aspects of Art history and creation of Art projects.
Curtain Call The Dramatic Art and Music Curriculum focuses on age appropriate activities that cover a range of skills, including presentation, narration, musical interpretation and performance.
Computer Skills The higher grades at Landmark benefit from our Computer Center, where they learn how to operate computers, and use basic software applications for research, writing reports, and playing interactive educational games, etc. Internet access is not available.
Si. Hablamos Espanol. The Spanish curriculum covers auditory recognition and verbal communication with reading and writing.
Landmark Kids Get Physical The First through Fifth grade classes have Physical Education taught twice a week. The classes work on preparation skills for team sports such as Soccer, Baseball and Basketball. Students develop hand-eye coordination and learn to work as a team.
After School Programs Currently, Landmark is also offering a dance and movement class after school. After school programs are provided based on parent recommendations.
